The World has changed through technology.

1. Information is the currency of democracy.
2. Information becomes more valuable as it is shared, less valuable as it is hoarded.
3. Preservation of the public record depends upon wide access and distribution of data
4. If the workings of Government are public and must be Open
5. The Internet is People!
6. The exercise of public oversight in the digital era can only be accomplished with adequate tools.
7. Efficiency Government and of the public is promoted by Open Data Policies
8. Data has become easier to store, manipulate and disseminate

The government's data is the peoples' data.

Sunlight is the best of disinfectants.

With many eyes, all corruption is shallow.
