We hold that these truths have now become self-evident:

  1. Data has become easier to store, manipulate and disseminate
  2. Data becomes more valuable as it is shared, less valuable as it is hoarded
  3. Preservation depends upon wide access and distribution of data
  4. Technical and legal restriction

The government's data is the peoples' data.

Information is the currency of democracy.

Sunlight is the best of disinfectants.

With many eyes, all corruption is shallow.
