I created Category:Spam and Template:Spam to mark pages as spam for future deletion. --Joshuagay 19:01, 27 October 2011 (EDT)

I marked some "new user pages" as such. The alternative is to edit them to start off with a sentence such as "[url] is the most incompetent travel agency in the world, run by vicious people who steal customers' money." What are they going to do - complain about "vandalism"? ;-) There might be a way to make all links on User Pages to be Nofollow, and add that information to the user signup, to discourage this. I thought MediaWiki set external links to be nofollow by default. I don't have time to check it now, but poke me to do it later if they aren't on this one. Webcasts/Videos

I agree it would be more sensible to call this page 'Videos'. I also think some sort of page is needed for his various official links, such as at Twitter, YouTube and Harvard, his new blog, and perhaps links to his Wikipedia article and similar. TomJx 19:46, 6 December 2011 (EST)

Which particular page are you referring to? I have a vague recollection of suggesting this move some time ago, so it's probably time for me to go ahead and move it -- but can't remember where the page was. Also, where's the new blog? I see lessig.org has had a face-lift, which I know he had put a lot of time and resources into, but I don't see any new content. This is the page. Yes, you suggested that earlier - in one of your edit comments there. Or, call it something like Resources about Lessig and include all his official sites along with videos and articles and such (see External links in his Wikipedia article). His new blog (and it's only the blog that he's replacing on lessig.org) is Lessig Blog, V2. Which is a bit confusing, as his previous one was at V3. I expect he did tell you about it, but not until tomorrow. Which makes sense if you're a Doctor Who fan, and would also explain the numeric progression. Ours is not to reason why.... I think I figured it out. The whole lessig.org site is v2, but the blog is (was) still v1. The Tumblr blog can therefore be reasonably described as "Lessig Blog, v2".

I've named the "webcasts" page LessigLinks, to make it clear (hopefully) that it's links specifically about Lessig rather than links relating to issues he is studying.

Aha! Although I prefer ay theory that relates to Doctor Who. ;-) There are a lot of links on his Wikipedia Talk page which were moved out of the article. I'll move them in. They need dates and locations added, but at least they'll be saved. TomJx 11:24, 7 December 2011 (EST)
